The vampire boy had decided that he was just going to be stubborn, he wasn't going to venture back to Forks with his family and he wasn't even going to go back to the state of Washington either. The boy was either going to stay there in Denali or he was going to venture somewhere else that would be safe for him to live at. Edward sat there in the cold snow off in the woods somewhere and just stared ahead of him into the darkness. The many sounds around him filled his ears, the sound of animals scurrying away to hide, which he thought was wise of them, considering that he was here.
He was going to decide that if after six years the human girl wasn't going to contact him, talk to him or anything, then he wasn't about to go and try to do the same thing either. Edward figured that if she didn't want to be with him and she wanted to go off and be human, then he was just going to stay away from her, he was going to be his vampire self and keep himself away from humans. Of course, he would be around them, but like before all of this happened, he wouldn't not chat with them or mingle with them or even speak to them unless there was some reason he had too. And in his case, Edward felt that he probably didn't have any real reason to do so.
Edward let out a small sigh as he sat there, thinking of where he could go. He knew he couldn't wander near places where the sun was always shining unless he was inside of his car, which would be his main transportation. The boy knew that he'd have to make home somewhere, where the sun didn't shine that much so he'd at least be able to get outside and the people wouldn't think of him as much of a freak. Edward continued to sit there in the cold snow, staring off into the darkness, letting his mind wander to where he'd eventually call home.
