Angela had never really been one for open nostalgia, but every once in a while, she felt the need to revisit the places she had spent as a child. So on a rare day when she had off from work, and she wasn't spending time with Ben or with her family looking after her brothers, she took her camera and roamed around town or in the forest. To be sure, it was dangerous, but Angela was quiet and generally unnoticed. She never went far anyways; she went into the forest for usually one reason and one reason only: trees. Angela loved the comfort of the trees in the forest in the every rainy Forks. It was a small comfort to know that some things would never change while everything else did.
Cradling her camera in her hands with the strap around her wrist for safety, Angela uncapped the lens and tucked the lens cap in her pocket. It was just another day in Forks, with rain threatening to come down on the town for the whole week, it seemed. Angela merely shook her head at the radio report as she exited her car, walking up a small slope toward the forest so that she could get some good shots. Normally, on days that it was sunny out, she would rush toward the forest to get some sunlight shots. But she would always make due with what she had. Besides, she had a feeling that Ben or anyone stopping by (more often than not, her little brothers) might appreciate a bit of home cooking today. She had an oatmeal and raisin cookie recipe on the her mind as she angled her camera up for her first shot.
The light was dim, but the trees were allowed their moment of being a constant subject. Angela frowned as she gazed into the view screen to see what it was she had just taken. The lightning was fine, she could deal with that. The angle? That maybe had to change. Shuffling to the side, Angela's eyes focused again on an old tree in the middle of this small clearing, her car radio still within earshot somehow.
"More rain," Angela echoed softly, her mind elsewhere as she gazed at the tree. "Hmmm."[/font]
