OOC: sorry if this is horrible and short
Edward raised an eyebrow towards Eve and gave her a smile "I wish that was my power." he actually felt jealous; to have the power to be able to read other people's minds was just, well, stressful at times. He hated being able to know what everyone around him was thinking, he hated what the people thought about him and his family and how they all seemed to wish so badly to be like them. Edward pushed the thought away and kept the smile to his face. As he started to think about Eve's power, it made him wonder a bit; he did feel better since he'd bet the girl and gave a faint laugh "Maybe you healed me." he said bluntly, not realizing he said the words until they came from his mouth. The vampire boy felt the need to blush, but knew he couldn't ever be able to do that again but he was enjoying the feeling of it.

Eve listened to him wish that it was his power, she shook her head and laughed slightly. “No reading minds is so much cooler.” she said, though she liked her gift she also though being able to read minds would be really amazing. If he was interested he could just read a person’s mind to find out what they were thinking. “Thanks by the way.” she said on him liking her power, although it wasn’t needed she felt like thanking him anyway. Edward just seemed to make her want to thank him, he was a good thing that had happened to her. There was nothing else she could think but do but thank him, he had lightened her day. Eve hoped that he would stick around and make life more interesting for her also.
When he told her that maybe she had healed him she gave a slight laugh, though looking at him she couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. “I think you did most of the healing.” she said, knowing that Edward was an extraordinary person who had kept himself together well and she had just helped him. “Though, if I healed you, then you definitely filled an empty gap for me.” Eve said looking at him but finding it hard to keep her gaze. Looking at him she felt vulnerable and unsure. It was a feeling that she often didn’t get around men, Eve was happy that she was with Edward for that time. There was something about him that made her happy, it just felt safe.OOC: Oh and don't worry its fine

Edward shook his head "Believe me, reading minds isn't as much fun as it may seem. Trust me." he gave her a look to show him that he wasn't kidding either "It can be nerving when you hear every single word that people think, to know their secrets, to know everything about them." he sighed a bit and frown slightly "Or to go mad because when you are use to being able to hear those thoughts, you find that one person that seems to be...immune to your power." he shook his head a bit and gave her a smile "trust me, I'd rather have your power than mine." he told her truthfully.
He rasied a slight eyebrow to her and smiled a bit, maybe he did, but he wasn't going to believe it and shook his head in disagreement "No, I believe it was all you. I'm close with my sister Alice, and this was something I couldn't even open up and speak to her about." he laughed a bit, wondering if Alice saw him talking about all of that to Eve instead of her "She'll probably hate me for it, but in the end, she'll be happy that I got it off my chest." he gave Eve a crooked smile, but softly let it disappear to just a soft smile; that was her smile and it still was paining him.
Edawrd stepped out of the car and flitted to the passenger side and opened up the door for Eve and held his hand out to help her out. Once she was out, he shut the door behind her for a moment, didn't want to let go of her hand but did nonetheless. He glanced around them a bit and shoved his hands into his pockets "Well, this is Forks." he said with a small laugh "I suppose it's not much, but it is...well, home."
