Benjamin rushed through the greenery all around him; in all of his years of being alive, he had never been to a place where it was soo..green and wet. But the one thing that he had come to find out about Washington was that it was usually always in a constant cover of gray clouds, which for the vampire, was a pretty good thing. It meant that he wouldn't be exposed for what he is when the sun touches his skin, causing it to shimmer. Pushing that aside, he started to slow down as he got further within the forest; though he knew it was lost hope, Benjamin was still hoping to find her; but a part of him felt that he wasn't going to find her and god only knew when/if he'd ever see her face again.
Coming to a stop, the vampire glanced around himself; it seemed quiet, though he could hear the sounds of animals whether they were near or far away from him. He thought he could even hear cars rushing by on a road and the sound of people talking. But the scent of humans wasn't very close to him and he wasn't hungry either, which in turn meant Benjamin wasn't out looking for a human to snack on.
Benjamin started to walk, in a humanly rate and speed, through the forest. He guessed that he could get use to the greenery and the wetness of the place that surrounded him now. He started to think through of renting a place while he stayed here, hoping that maybe there was a chance she would be here somewhere near by.

just talk yourself up [/size] A N D T E A R Y O U R S E L F D O W N - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Running, while very good for you, and sometimes enjoyable, was not one of Jasmine's favorite activities. For one thing, Forks was always wet, and moisture really didn't help the fact that she wasn't the most graceful person. Jasmine wasn't sure why exactly she insisted on running every day, but she did. It was a habit that she'd gotten into during her brief period of health-obsession. She'd spent most of the time she was fourteen trying to eat healthy and exercise and stuff. She quickly realized that eating healthy wasn't her calling, so she settled for running for an hour or two a day. Jasmine knew that it probably wasn't too wise to be running in the forest, by her self, early in the morning, without her cell phone on her. She had always loved the forests near her home, and it was even better now that she lived in an apartment that was literally twelve feet away from the forest. Plus, there was no one there to tell her to be careful.
Jasmine loved living on her own. Her apartment was probably her favorite place in the world. It was tiny, and only a few minutes away from her mom's, and it smelled sort of odd, and the heater didn't work half of the time, but it was her's, and thus, awesome. Her mom hadn't insisted on buying anything, which Jasmine was thankful for. She had an odd plaid couch, and a vaguely almost soft mattress, and a table with three mismatched chairs and no TV. She couldn't ask for anything more. Jasmine smiled, thinking about her lovely apartment. It always made running feel better, thinking about something that she liked, like that. As soon as she stopped thinking about other things, her mind went back to her running. She'd been out longer than usual, and she was farther into the woods than normal. It didn't matter though, she'd spent her entire life exploring the forest.
Continuing through the trees at a steady pace, Jasmine glanced around, sure that she'd heard something. Huh. There wasn't usually anyone else out here. After a few seconds of turning her head to various angles, looking for someone or something, Jasmine finally spotted what had made the noise. A tall-ish man, maybe 20 or so, walking through the trees, a little ways a head. She wasn't sure why, but Jasmine had a feeling that it would be smart for her to turn around and go home now, but she didn't. The man looked... lost, maybe. She jogged over in his direction, planning on offering direction, if he needed it.
She slowed to a walk, matching his pace when she got near him, she smiled, vaguely surprised at how handsome he was, and how oddly pale... She figured she looked pretty awkward, just jogging up to people she didn't know, but hey, that's what she did! "Hello. Are you lost? You look lost." She thingyed her head to the side, watching him.

A scent hit him almost like a brick wall, causing Benjamin to stop head in his tracks, feeling his throat to burn with venom in the back of his throat. Just as he was about to turn around to face whatever it was, a voice came to him; Benjamin turned slowly to face towards a human girl with her head tilted off to the side a bit. A small chuckle came from his pale lips as he smiled towards the young girl "Me lost?" he shook his head towards her, as a soft smile perched on his lips "I was just enjoying my surroundings." he spoke to her softly.
His probably now glowing red eyes seem to glance around her for a moment, wondering if the human girl was alone or there was others with her. Benjamin didn't seem to notice, smell, or hear anyone else around them in the forest but he would be sure to stay alert. Pulling his eyes back towards the girl he was very intrigued by her scent and it was, well, very appealing to him as well. Deciding to try and seem like he is well..normal, Benjamin kept his gaze on the human girl before him and put on a slightly concerned look to his features "You're not lost, are you, ma'am?" he asked her, adding a bit of a concerned tone to his words as he spoke them.
