Forks, WA; it had been his home once, twice and now three times already in this life that he was living. Edward was now back with his family, back in their old house hidden away in the green forest of Forks. A sigh came from his lips as he stood in his old bedroom, staring out the one of the many windows that went around half of the bedroom; he stared out towards the green forest ahead of him and memories flashed through his mind. Growling slightly, Edward clenched his fists together and stormed out of the bedroom and through the house gracefully and made his way to the first floor. He flitted out of the door and in an instant, sprinted off in a run through the forest.
He wasn't really thinking of where he was going, but when he finally came to a stop, the familiar medow that was once just his own special place to go, was where he found himself. Edward stood there in the middle, seeing the sun trying to peek through the darken clouds above him; he didn't move and only just stood there. He'd been holding in all of this emotion, everything for the past six years and he was starting to fear that he was going to lose control one day and harm someone innocent. In an instant, Edward was at a huge tree, grabbing it by the trunk and tossing it across the meadow, hearing it crash hard against the other trees, causing a few to fall in it's path of destruction.
Standing there in the shadows of the trees, Edward just stared ahead of him and frozen in his place. As much as he wanted to leave Forks and to never return, he couldn't do that to his family.

Evageline hadn’t been in the town long and she always liked exploring the forests and other areas. So she decided to go and check out the forest first, wondering if there were any spots where she could just relax and enjoy it. Once she had got to where the trees start, she sprinted as fast as she could and watched out for anything interesting. It was soon that she came upon a meadow and stopped a little bit away from it and smiled, it was beautiful. Eve hadn’t been looking at it too long before she saw a tree fly and crash through some other trees nearby. She just watched and then she sensed him, another vampire.
Approaching him was a bad idea but she was never good at self control, peering out from the tree she was leaning against she was able to see him. However judging from his face and his eyes, Eve felt that he wasn’t a savage nomad and that he had some restraint. Plus there was only one of him she might have been able to take him on if needed. She also realised that he would sense her there soon enough so there was no getting away now.
Coming out from behind her she jogged over there, not at full speed but at a reasonable pace. Then when she got closer she could see his face was torn with sorrow and anger. This guy had been through a lot and it had made Eve feel sorry for him. When she was close enough to talk to him she stopped and smiled being the friendly vampire she is. “Hey.” she felt like she wanted to say more but couldn’t get the words out. Hopefully he wouldn’t sense her as a threat because she wasn’t one.

Edward got a scent that was not familiar, but it didn't cause him to move from his spot. He still stared ahead into the nothingness of the forest; he knew the other vampire was getting closer, the scent was getting stronger and the smell of animal blood was on her, so it meant that it wasn't one that fed from humans. It wasn't until the vampire came into his view did he realize it was a female vampire, he looked down upon her and noticed her smile that went across her mouth and heard her greet him. Even in his fit of rage, he still gave a small nod towards the stranger "Hello." no hint of emotion came to his voice.
Though he may not be human, he was still a man nonetheless and Edward couldn't help but to notice how beautiful this female vampire looked. She was goregous, really and he never really thought of any other female to be that way before Bella came into his life and even after that, he never saw any one of the opposite sex that could ever compare to that human. Maybe this was what he needed; maybe the real reason he couldn't allow himself to completely leave Forks was because he'd been waiting for this stranger here.
But in reality, none of that made sense to him; for decades, he'd never been attracted to any female that he ever came across, whether vampire or human. The day Bella Swan moves to Forks, WA is the day that changed Edward's life. He had to be with her, he wanted to be with her; her blood drew him to her and he couldn't live without her. Bella was his herione and he was addicted badly to it.
Edward sighed out softly, hoping this stranger didn't notice it. He was still in conflict with himself about all of this; especially after he ran into her in town the other day. He felt like he would of been holding Bella back from keeping her to experience all of the human things she did. But then again, Edward was the one that wanted Bella to stay human, he wanted her to have the human experience; he even promised to stay with her as she grew older and when she would leave this earth, he promised her that he'd follow after her. He was still trying to figure out how and where it all went wrong, but the vampire boy was positive he wasn't ever going to find that out.

Sniffing she could smell animal blood on him, was he like her? Eve had heard of others like her but they were few so she never even dreamt of meeting one of them. Her thoughts were interrupted by him speaking and the dullness of his voice. Earlier thoughts about him being through something bad were just proved by his speech and body language. Again she felt sorry for him like she always did with people who had experienced hard ships in their lives, even if it was vampire. Stepping forward she held out her hand, a risky move considering she had only just meet him and he was a fellow vampire. Nevertheless she did not feel threatened by this man and Eve wasn’t one to question her own judgement.
Then she spoke her name. “I’m Evangeline.” she said putting on a sweet smile and keeping her hand out, wondering if he would take it. If not she would always leave and get own with her own business but she had been hoping he would.
Looking him over as he stood there, she noticed his beauty. His body was toned with muscle but he wasn’t heavy, it suited his slim figure. Then her eyes returned to his face again, it was so stunning but there was such a sad look on it. Eve wished that he would wear a smile, it would make him look even more beautiful. It was a look she had sometimes wore, a look of loneliness.

Who was he to be a bit rude to someone that was a stranger to him and the fact that she didn't feed upon humans just made things even better, which meant in the end, this female could possibly end up being a friend instead of an enemy. Edward saw her take a step towards him, he took a few steps to her as well; he took her hand in his own and bent down a bit giving it a small kiss and returned her the smile "Nice to meet you. I'm Edward." he told her.
His mind went back to the tree that he just threw only moments ago, he figured she saw it or either heard it. As he let go of her hand, his hand went to the back of his next, he rubbed it slightly, as he gave a slight apologetic smile "Umm.." he looked off towards where the destruction path was of the tree "Sorry if that got anywhere near you." he sighed out slightly, as he let his arm fall down to his side. Edward was really going to need to speak with Esme or Alice soon, he knew it was bad for him to keep all of this kept up inside of him and he really didn't want to destroy the forest of Forks or cause harm to anyone that could happen to be in the way of his destruction at the time.

The boy looked at her and met her hand with his own and then kissed it, if Eve could blush she would’ve but instead she just smiled. “A pleasure to meet you too Edward.” she said and took away her hand and he did. Then a look of guilt crossed onto his face and he apologized to her for throwing the tree. A laugh escaped her mouth and she shook her head. “No it’s fine, it was no were near me.” Eve said putting her hands in her pockets.
“So Edward. How long have you been in Forks for?” she asked curious to see how long they could stay in the one place for, she hadn’t seen him in town yet when she got some supplies. However she probably just missed him or something, she had only been in town a few days.
Looking at his face she saw him thinking about something, his expression was so hard and hurt. Her compassionate side got the best of her and she asked him. “Are you ok?” it wasn’t one of the weirdest thing to do but usually she didn’t ask questions like that straight out. Also it had been a long time since Eve had seen someone living with so much pain and anger. Though she did feel bad about asking him and didn’t want to force it out of him so she too decided to apologize. “I-I am sorry that was rude.” she said and then thought that he might just want time on his own and decided that if he did she would happily leave him be.

Edward was pleased to hear that the tree of destruction wasn't any where near the girl; he would of probably felt horrible if it had been. He gave her another smile, but it disappeared a little bit when she asked him how long he'd been in Forks "Well, our family actually just moved back here." he told her with a small shrug "This is our third time living here." Edward allowed the smile to spread just a little bit across his lips. "And since I've never seen you around before, I might as well tell you that none of our kind is allowed within the area of La Push." he got a serious look to his face as the words came from his mouth "Our family has a treaty with the werewolves there that allow us to live at peace here in Forks. We do not kill humans and we do not allow others to kill the humans in and around Forks."
His mind drifted a bit to when the treaty was made between the Cullens and the werewolves; he was greatful to have Carlisle as a father. It was amazing how calm that man could be under certain situations, he admired him deeply and tried his best to never disappoint him, but sometimes, he feels that he has over the past years. Edward pushed the thoughts away when he heard the girl speaking once more, apparently it seemed he was getting worse with hiding how he was feeling, he was really going to have to work on that. Then the girls mind ran through his ears, a sigh came to his lips, as he shook his head "No, it's alright." he told her. He had realized that having company around at least helped him to keep his mind occupied "I'm.." he thought really of how he was, if he said okay, then he'd be lying and who was he to lie to a stranger "Actually, I really don't know." he admitted.

Eve watched as he told her about how long he’d been there for and she watched as his face darkened a little. It seemed to be hard to talk about this place and she was betting that it had something to do with the sadness in his face. “So you have been here before, I guess you must like it here. So you have a whole family?” she asked and was jealous, he would never feel the loneliness that she did and again she felt lonely. Least he had his family.
The next part surprised her because she had no idea that there were werewolves just near where they were. “Oh, I hadn’t been planning to go there or anything but I am glad for the heads up.” she said and then thought about werewolves. Eve hadn’t had many encounters with them and that was the way she liked it. She wasn’t someone to cause trouble with people that she didn’t need too. “Oh and don’t worry I don’t harm humans.” she said just to make sure that he knew, although she guessed he already did by the way he acted around her.
As Edward told her that it was ok she was relieved, she had by no means wanted to offend him with her question. Eve watched as he was about to say something, she guessed it was a lie that he probably told most people. Then he admitted that he was not really ok and that he was unsure of how he actually was. It was in that moment that she really wanted to see him smile, a smile that was real not one that was forced. “Yeah I don’t know about myself sometimes.” she admitted because it was the truth, often she thought she was ok but then other times, she was just all by herself in the World. There was no one there to help her through, no one there to comfort her. Sighing she realised she didn’t want to think about her problems, he was the one in pain and she hated seeing it.
“Well do you want to take your mind off it?” she said and then quickly followed it. “The best way I find is to go for a run and that is why I came out here.” she said with a smile. “Would you like to come?” There was no force involved in her voice, Eve was simply asking him if he would like to join her. A smile slipped onto her lips and she tied her long blonde hair back whilst she awaited his reply.

Edward gave her a nod "We have and there is something about Forks that attracts us." he gave a small shrug "One of the places we are able to be out and not worry about being exposed." he gave a small laugh. Sometimes, he wondered what the humans would think of seeing one of the Cullens just appear in the sun and look as if thousands of diamonds were embedded into their skin "Yes, there is a whole family of us." he smiled at the thought of his adoptive family "Carlisle saved us all and we are thankful for that." and it was true.
"Good. If you ever run into one, try not to worry to much. They are only the way they are because of the ones that do feed from humans." he rolled his eyes slightly "Though, some of them don't really care what we eat and only see us all as the same." a small sigh came from his lips at the thought. He'd gotten over from seeing himself as a monster, but he was slowly starting to go back to that thought and wasn't liking it either.
He heard the words come from her mouth and the ones that went through her mind, a part of him hated that he was able to read minds he felt that people deserved their own privacy but most of the times, he couldn't help it. Edward felt a bit sorry for the girl, maybe he could introduce her to his family and possibly she could join them and stay there with them. It wasn't as if there wasn't enough room, he was sure there was probably another bedroom with that house somewhere that wasn't being used for anything.
Hearing an offer to get his mind taken off of things caused a small smile to spread across his face "Yea, that sounds great." he replied to her and watched her tie her hair up "Running does usually help me to forget the world around me." he told her with a slight crooked smile and gave a small laugh "Just hope you can keep up." he told her as he started to take off in a sprint.

She nodded. “Yeah I can understand that, it is a beautiful place. So relaxed and calm.” that was the impression she had gotten when she had arrived at Forks and one of the reasons she had liked it. Then he went on to tell her about his family and how Carlisle saved them all, she would like the met this vampire. He seemed kind and giving and she knew how hard it was to change a human, not that she had tried, but to have that restraint is amazing. So to do it do a whole family takes a lot of strength. “Wow, he sounds like an amazing person.” she said speaking her thoughts aloud. “Ok I will try not too.” she said and she believed what he had said. Then Edward spoke of ones that saw them as all the same, it was after all a stereotypical World. “Oh, they might learn to understand...one day.” she said thinking that it sometimes took time for people to see the bigger picture and understand things.
He accepted her offer and she smiled a little wider. “Good then.” she said and then he teased her with a comment about keeping up. Eve was quite quick at running because of how active she was when she was changed, she had always thought that that had something to do with it. Then Edward took off and she went after him and caught up to him. They were side by side and she laughed. “Keep up, don’t you mean with me?” she said and took off ahead of him. There was a smile on her face she really did love running.

He nodded back to her, Forks was a quiet and beautiful place when certain vampires weren't trying to kill a certain...cut it out.. he thought to himself as he cut his thoughts shorts and sighed quietly. Edward heard her comment on Carlisle and smiled towards it "He really is." he told her. Hearing her words of them understanding one day, made him laugh a bit with no humor added to it at all. He wasn't all to sure the werewolves would come to an understanding about those like him and his family who only fed from animals instead of humans. He was sure that they'd probably still only see them all as the same, as monsters.
Edward allowed himself to forget everything that he had just been thinking of and talking about. A smile spread out across his mouth as he flitted through the forest. He looked to the side seeing that she caught up with him and heard the laugh come from her mouth, causing one to escape from his pale lips as well. A smirk played across his mouth at her words seeing her take off ahead of him; Edward pushed himself to his fullest speed and caught up with the girl and smirked once more "Believe me, I'll have no problem." he told her with a small laugh.

When Edward had agreed with her she could see the pride he had in this Carlisle man, he was so proud of him. So proud to speak about him, that was what she liked to see. Then as all of the thoughts that went through he head she took a deep breath in, not that she needed to. It was just one of those things that she liked to do, the smell was beautiful of course. All the different smells coming from the forest filled her up and she forgot about it all.
Running with Edward she saw him laugh and then soon enough he was keeping up with her, he was quite fast. Then he told her that he would have no problem and she chuckled. “Actions are louder than words.” she said and then she really pushed herself and sprinted nearly fully speed up the hill. Eve hadn’t run this fast in a long time and it was quite strange but nevertheless she loved it. As the wind whipped on her face and blew the few strands she had missed tying up. There hadn’t been the need to run this fast before, it had been something casual and easy but that didn’t mean she didn’t love it. At that pace she waited for him to catch up and somehow she knew he would.

A grin decided to spread across his mouth, as he watched the girl take off up the hill before them. Another laugh came from his mouth as he sprinted up the hill catching up with the girl. He knew he was fast, but he'd never really put himself to go his fastest and right now, he was pushing himself to his fullest. When he caught up with her the grin was still spread out across his mouth "Told you I wouldn't have any problem." he smirked a bit towards her as he stayed even with her as they ran through the forest.
Edward thought that maybe he could invite her over to meet his family, he wasn't all sure if they were all there, but he figured that at least Emmett and Rose would be there. He cringed mentally at the thought of Rose being home; he was doing everything possible to avoid her, he hated the words that went through her mind and Edward knew she was doing just to get under his skin and it was working well. Pushing the thought of Rose and her cold heart away from his mind, he came to a stop, but reached out and grabbed a hold of the others arm as he did so to stop her too "How would you like to meet my family?" he asked her bluntly.

Sure enough he was next to her and looking at him she saw a grin that looked real, not one that was forced or fake ,it looked he was actually a little bit happy. “Didn’t doubt you for a second.” she said, smiling herself as they ran together through the forest. Eve was pushing herself now and she could tell he was too. Or so she hoped he was and by looking at his expression this was what she had guessed. Then he grabbed her arm and pulled her to a stop with him, quickly enough she span around to see what he was doing. Edward then asked her if she wanted to meet his family.
Surprised by the question she smiled. “Ah yeah sure.” she said and was truly excited to meet his family it would be a really fun experience. It made her wonder about what they were all like and if they would dislike her because she was an outsider. However hearing him talk about Carlisle she guessed that maybe they were gentle and caring, she decided that she would just have to find out .The way that Edward looked up to him made her feel a bit better, that made her think that they were good people. “But I mean...are you sure? I don’t want to just intrude in on them.” she said feeling like she might be disrupting their privacy. That was something she didn’t want to do and meeting them would be great but what if they just wanted to relax? Sighing she ran her hand down her ponytail and wondered if it would be ok to meet them because she really wanted too.

He was glad to hear that she was willing to go and meet his family; Edward figured that his family would be alright with this, it was kind of rare for them to come across other's that didn't feed from humans and when we did come across those people, they usually became our friends and usually a part of our family as well. A small laugh came from his mouth at her words "Don't worry about it. I'm sure they won't mind." Rose might have a problem, but she is just like that.. he thought to himself and hoped that maybe Rose wouldn't be to harsh or anything towards this stranger.
A smile came across his lips "I'll lead the way. Just keep up." he told her with a wink and took off in a sprint towards the direction that he knew would be where the Cullen's home was.
