The Mask!
Character Name: Angela "Ang" Weber
Species: Human
Group: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Diet: ---
Appearance:
Angela stands at 6'0", a size that she often thinks is way too tall for a her. As a result, you'll often find Angela trying to find ways to make her seem smaller, such as leaning on something or sitting down. While most girls would be uncomfortable with a height like that, Angela isn't awkward or clumsy, but is in fact slightly graceful with her movements. As she tends to put it, she's "grown" into her height over the last few years since leaving high school and attending college. Her height tends to be her most defining feature, and one that easily embarrasses her.
Her height aside, Angela sports long, thick brown hair, which you can often find worn down around her face. Once in a while, she'll pull it back away from her face, but Angela likes wearing it down a lot. She has some honey streaks running through her hair, and natural curls. Her hair frames her well rounded, healthy face that more often than not has a blush on it for some reason or another. Besides her height, Angela's other defining feature are her soft, brown eyes that seem to radiate kindness. It's very easy to look at Angela and feel reassured.
Angela tends to wear very plain, conservative clothes that tend to hide her more than they tend to show off anything. She remains very much the person that she was in high school in terms of fashion tastes. She enjoys wearing jeans and skirts with any shirt that she likes, and tends to stick to colors that calm people down. More often then not, you'll often find Angela wearing earthy colors, like brown, beige and green, her favorite colors.
Personality:
Angela is, in the words of some, one of the truly nicest people on Earth, although you should never tell Angela that. She'll blush and assure you that she's not. Modesty aside, Angela finds it very hard to say something bad about anyone, and always seeks to help those in need. Angela knows human emotion very well, and no matter how hard people hide it, she knows if something is wrong, and will extend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on. She also knows, however, when to back off and give people space. Compared to many of her classmates, Angela is better at picking up subtle hints, a fact that many of her friends appreciate in some way or another. Surprisingly, Angela's focus on other people gives her the strange ability, as some call it, to not be selfish. Not even Angela can explain this, but she does not wish for anything for herself, and even when she does, they are very small things that she is reluctant to reveal to anyone. She is generally the most reliable out of all of her friends.
For all of her good nature, there are some bad traits that Angela has. For one thing, she worries way too much about certain things. Whenever it comes to her friends or family, both come first before her own health. As a result, if she suspects something is wrong with anyone close to her, although Angela will not do anything directly, she will worry herself sick unless the problem is resolved. Angela also lacks the initiative to ask questions or to start a friendship, oftentimes relying on her other friends to introduce them. She is exceptionally shy and soft spoken, although when either her friends or family are threatened, she can unexpectedly stand up for them. The same cannot be said of herself.
History:
The eldest daughter of a Lutheran minister, Angela Weber was born into a modest house and into a modest living. Born in the town of Forks, Washington, Angela made some of her closest friends in her childhood, carrying them throughout her life beyond high school, and in some cases, beyond college. A sensitive child, Angela grew up quietly and shyly, a fact that was made easier by the fact that she would later on grow to have her twin brothers Isaac and Joshua, who were almost complete opposites of their older sister. Angela's first friend was the girl who fell off the swing in the playground. Gradually, mutual acquaintances followed before evolving into the close knit group that would stay together until high school, and beyond college. It was thanks to her friends that she found her favorite hobby of photography.
Growing up in a small town, nothing exciting ever happened in Forks, until two significant events occurred. The first was the arrival of the Cullens, something that set the whole school abuzz. Angela was curious about the Cullens, yet understood enough from them that they were best left alone. She harbored no romantic feelings for any of them. Rather, she was more concerned about how different they were, and wanted more than anything for them to fit in and be comfortable. Her efforts for the most part were in vain, and she settled very uneasily into living with them without knowing anything about them.
At least, until Bella Swan came into town. Bella Swan changed everything for the people of Forks, Angela included. For one thing, here was a stranger that Angela felt that she could become friends with. And become friends they did. Bella Swan would become one of Angela Weber's closest friends, and one that caused the most worry. She fully supported Bella's relationship with Edward since it made Bella happy. When Edward left, it was the closest Angela had ever come to being angry at seeing Bella so unhappy. Over the course of the next few months during Bella's depression, Angela actively tried to cheer Bella up and to be a good friend. Of course, upon Edward's return and seeing Bella's happiness, any thought of angry to the teenage boy was forgotten, and things returned to normal, much to Angela's relief. At least, until the wedding.
Angela's relationship with Ben Cheney is one of the highlights of her life. Angela managed to ask Ben out during junior year, and their relationship remained strong past high school into college. They attended college in Seattle together, and despite breaking up and going through a few rough patches, they have continued to go strong in the two years since graduating from college. Now settled in Forks once again, Angela has found employment as a school teacher, using her kind personality and patience to teach younger children, a job that she truly enjoys when she isn't indulging in photography.

Either way, it was for one of her two jobs that she found herself knocking on her brother's dorm room door. Being the grease monkey that she was, it had finally occurred to her that she needed a work shirt, a shirt that she could get as dirty as she wanted without having to worry about destroying it. All that oil and grease had to go somewhere, and since she was small enough to climb into those big machines half the time, it made sense to her at least that her own clothes shouldn't be made to suffer.
Which was exactly why, at least in Beth's mind, her brother's shirt would do the job. It wasn't like they fit her anyways. It was one of the reasons why it was hard to see Beth or Darren as half-siblings. One could blame it on genetics, really. Beth in some ways took more after her mother in terms of appearance. Given that Darren came from a completely different gene pool, they did look nothing alike. This was especially apparent when one took into account their height difference. Beth stood at five feet tall, practically a kid in a sea of high schoolers. Her brother? It was best not to discuss that with Beth. She knew as well as anyone that it would take more than a chair to elevate her to his height, or anywhere near it. A chair with six phone books? Maybe if she stood on tip toe.
Pressing her ear to the door when there was no response (he was a vampire, after all), Beth pressed her lips together into a frown, and opened the door herself. There was always the option of climbing in through the window, but she didn't like that option that much anymore. She had a feeling her brother had found a way to barricade the window to stop her from coming in that way anyways. Walking into the room, she was surprised at the emptiness. She couldn't hear the shower running, although the idea that one of them had run back out to grab something from outside crossed her mind. Either way, she didn't think much about it as she strode over to a familiar part of the room and began to search through dresser drawers and the closet to find a shirt.
"There has to be one he doesn't need," she muttered to herself as she dug into his shirts. "Or one that he won't miss." Heading under the bed to see if he had hidden any articles of clothing under there, she was small enough to fit into the small hole, and not be seen. Thankfully, she wasn't stuck in there, but it did distract her enough to miss the sound of footsteps coming into the room.
